Talk to Duckriver (a guy standing with a dark horse). The black horse will join you team. Go inside where the king is, and present to him the horse. After finishing the quest, go outside and then back in you will find gold statues. Talking to the king activates quest The Alchemists Dream Change Stones to Gold.
